Hello, hello, hello! Well the first crop went very well :) I am not a great photo taker, or is it my camera that I don't know how to use...regardless...here are some photos I got to take before my camera battery DIED! oh goodness. I know you can't see it but my gnome fairy is holding a sign that says "someone to watch over me." I had him be the centerpiece and put their goodies around him. For you see, for me this is not just a gathering of random peeps. I consider them good friends, I hope this time and place will become a regular meeting group. A safe place to come and be. I made some biscotti for a little giftie and also make sequined shamrocks for them also. Kim is wearing hers here...I made mine when I was 7 years old. It was one of my favorite pieces that I created with my Nani. I have worn it every year since..... It was also close to Kristie's birthday so I decorated a pick for her. Amy and Kristie are wearing some of my "party hats." Such great friends and a wonderful time. I am gonna have another for National Scrapbook Day. I am working on the goodies for my girls already and of course you can't see until the event. This last week I have started organizing my studio, so exciting, it has ignited the creative ideas! yay... LUCKY LUCKY me..xoxo til next time!

Someone to watch over me

Graphic 45 Design Team 2012 Audition
Well, my goodness- what a mess! Here are some of my projects that I love! Some kind people have purchased my recipe and address books, but here are some of my favorites. I do love parties, and you MUST have a hat that is made just for you! "It's my birthday don't ya know" just makes me laugh! It has a crown style verses the cone like the others that are fun. I made this sweet card for my sister's new baby. Bucket? you ask....her big sister wanted to call her that, so for nine months little Beatrice was referred to as "Bucket"! (and still called that by Josie) Did you notice the hand stitched felt heart-love it. I have to start gifting some of my banners, one CAN have to many. Here is my Halloween and Alice banner. I know you can't read the details which is to bad, they are my favorite lines from the movie. My latest project was my little Christmas houses---LOVE THEM! Again, the shimmer, the colors, the detail in side- OH MY! Well I did have fun and always love to create!

Oh what fun it is .....
I am pleased to say that I have been visiting my studio, and creating up there. "My Studio" is the room upstairs, where I have gathered ALL my crafting goodies. Though it is quite a mess, it is MINE! My husband is quite convinced that I really don't know what is up there, but I have so many ideas, you know, where your brain NEVER rests, so I am always working on serveral projects at one time! Maybe one day it will be presentable to show you!
It has been a year and a half that my greatest fan, my teacher, my safe haven has been gone. I am still missing my Nani, but have reached the point where I don't just sit in my studio and stare. The good news is the creativeness is returning, and what is missing now is my friends. I am not real good about getting on the computer, so I miss out on the conversations and pictures my friends are sharing! I am planning to host my first crop in March, so we shall see...... fun, fun, FUN!
I am going to post some photos of some of my work from the last year. I have been homebound and as you can see my product is not new but how lovely it still is!
