And now we are rock painting....

I have been collecting beautiful rocks for years..I pick them up where ever I am..all it has to do is catch my eye.......well, I have wanted to start wood burning. Have you seen this? So I started doodling..like henna tattoo. It is really hard, I've been working on it for a few months inbetween very other craft, gardening, baking, etc.  The arthritis has been acting up in my hands from working on a on how for my niece. So I took a break, it was last Wednesday, Earth Day, and getting my garden planted..I needed some yard markers.......I have to say, I am addicted! Look how cute these mushrooms are! I had my card class yesterday in Fallbrook, and I haven't even shown those yet either...need more hours in the day!!! Hope your all finding happiness in the simple things! Xo

Still baking....

Hello Everyone! Hope this spring season is coming along positively joyous for you! I stumbled across the Hannah Swensen baking mystery books a few months ago and am obsessed!!! I love to bake and for Easter this year I baked her white choc macadamia cookies ( on the rt, second photo)! They were good and I can't wait to try more recipes!!! My biscotti what I really want to highlight. This batch, posted in top photo, is actually gluten free. They are great! You can't really tell a difference from the regular ones, so my tasters have said, and I think so too! I'm in the process of getting my food cottage under way! Hopefully, LisaLisaTreats will be more then just my blog and Etsy store where I share my crafty work! Thank you for stopping by..hoping to post more goodies soon!

Etsy shop is OPEN!

Hello, Hello, Hello! So excited......finally the Esty shop Lisa Lisa Treats is open! I have but just a few things on there to start....it takes me awhile! You would think my computer skills should improve, but they are not fast or well enough!  A few cards, wall hangers, address books, canvas', and going to put up my crocheted items! My sister wants me to have a website...I like that idea because I can have the biscotti on there too, however, blogging may end because I can't seem to stay on top of it all!!! I apologize to you about that. Just not enough hours in the day, but we will see! In the meantime I had a lovely card class last week...love those ladies that have shown up to everyone of my classes, they call themselves "the 3 Amigos"! I will post them if they are in my que..still can't get immediate photos taken to add to my blog! Very frustrating, I found this is why I don't post more, I like to share photos!  I hope to be working upstairs today, it's a beautiful rainy day, perfect for creating! Thank you for still checking in on me here and I hope you might find me at Etsy and follow me!

Valentines cheer

Valentine's cheer is definitely going on here for me...reds, pinks, aqua, black, lavender!!!   I sequenced these felt hearts by hand...one little one at a time.... And these little crocheted flowers around buttons was shared on Facebook and I couldn't help myself! I had to make them!  Being able to work with little projects,  settling in my comfy spot, letting my mind go, gives me such a inner
peace.....you know of which I speak.  All my worries seem to fall aside and ideas, creatations take off, wether I actually get that end project done, isn't what it's about, it's about the creative process....it's me with recipes, what's going into my garden, wether my first sewn bag all have crocheted flowers or felt..maybe both, what type of yarn and color will my next pair of gloves be, quotes and the lovely swirls that will frame them for my next card or canvas..and it goes on and on. I get so excited for each holiday as it approaches...and I enjoy every day after that, that I can create the emotion, love and memory that they hold for me....it's a happy place, and I hope it might make you happy too! Xo

Happy 2015

Hello and thank you for checking back with me! I hope you had a wonderful holiday season! I was so distracted with good stuff that I neglected my blog...feel horrible but.....this new year was upon us..I want to embrace it with an open heart, positive attitude and an adventurous spirit!  I have been working on opening my Etsy shop..a project I started almost 4 years ago.   I didn't have my Fallbrook Womens class in December, so I tried to use that time to be productive with my shop....well the baking, decorating, and wonderful family time I gave into and was blessed with a joyous Chrsitmas....if my iPad would allow me to post the photos I took on New Years Eve, you could understand. It was a winter wonderland at my house...we got snow!!! Maybe it's normal where you live but not here! We got 7 inches of powder! I truly had one of the best ending and beginning of a year ever! In addition to working on my shop, I got orders for Lisa Lisa Treats baking departments! I sold my biscotti and toffee..another dream come true! So 2015,  here's to my adventure, baking and creating to bring joy, inspiration and making many wonderful memories!  I will try to get more photos uploaded to share what I am working on, until then, keep creating!

They love it as much as I do! Happy thanksgiving to you!
