May 8th class

Ahead of the game...kinda!

This is for my layout class's that is going on at Cool Srapbook Stuff in Poway on May 8th at 10 a.m. I had planned on it for an April project but it got bumped! I have a card class there end of April and a hanger project April 5th, which is The"memories" hanger which was posted already.  I love creating ! While working on this layout, I wasn't sure of the photos up til the end, and once I started digging, I came across so many wonderful photos full of memories. This layout contains photos of me with my sisters and best friends that I have had since elementary school. In these our age ranges from 17 to 39. I feel so blessed to have these women in my life, and don't know what I would do without them. I know we all have friends like this, aren't we lucky!  I am getting ready go go it and work in the studio, got 2 card class's to create! Joy!!! Happy Thursday to you!

One of my favorite happy quotes

I found this quote on a MME product piece years ago and created a hanger with a old photo of Nani and Teta, that I love, love ,love. However the quote still was screaming to get out onto a canvas, so here I  is. How can these colors not make "Life that much brighter"! Enjoy your day!

Memories hanger class

Good morning to you!  I finished this last Thursday and must say that I like it more than I thought. Sometimes as you well know, what ideas that go on in your mind don't always turn out like you plan! This little quote brought on some emotion for me, but not until I saw it posted on FB.  A swirling of my past and the present, and into the future. I am not a writer, I have a hard time expressing myself with words, I guess my vocab can use a lot of help. But I tell you, my heart knows!!! It was not expecting a flood of emotions when reading these few lines. I miss my family that is no longer here on this plain, I am struggling to hold on to the generation above me and never want to be without those that are after me. Life is truly an amazing gift, and we must hold on to these bits of happiness, because we don't want to ever forget or be forgotten. Live life, for what you put in comes back to you, somehow, someway. Happy Sunday, now go make a memory!

Fallbrook card class

I got it!  I was having a problem with the uploading.  Here are grouped photos of the cards I will be teaching at the Fallbrook Women's group.  I just love them...I used different project lines from a while back but just because it's older paper does not mean it isn't Fantastic paper!  As a crafter, we become "collectors" of  our craft supplies.  It is a win win for me, so I hope you enjoy them as much as I! The class is march 19th.  I will be teaching the third Wednesdays of each month, (if they keep me), and have rotating dates at Cool Srapbook Stuff in Poway.  I know you can't post comments for all to see but would to hear if you do have something to say! Enjoy your day, I gotta go work on the next project, happy crafting!

Fallbrook Ladies group, here I come! Part 1

Is it bad that I want to wake my husband up? He is resting so peacefully on the couch listening to my relaxing music station on pandora.  However, I can not get my photos I just took on my iPad to show up in my choice of photos to post!  I have four of my five cards done and I want to share!  I do have a few other things also to share, should I wake him up to ask how? Well, I would not want him to do it to me, so I guess I have my answer!  In the mean time I will tell you about my new friend! Jane!  She attended a class of mine that was at Cool.  We hit it off right away, and she suggested that I try teaching a class at the Fallbrook Women's center.  Well, I tell you, this is music to my ears! Not only do I get to create, I get to meet wonderful older women (love senior peeps), and I get paid!  As you may know if you have been following me, I was in home care and hospice for 7 years before I left my dream job to take of my Nani, which in itself was a short term dream job.  I enjoy listening to them.  Oh don't get me started! Sooo, Hope you like my next post..it will be the card samples for them. Until then Happy raining Saturday! Be safe!
